PRIVATE COACHING

In-Person and Remote Coaching
We can work at my Los Angeles studio, your location, or on Zoom.

Individualized Approach
Your needs, as well as your current abilities and challenges, determine our focus. We'll clarify your goals and then discover how to move toward them.

First Session
The first session is a little longer than a standard session. We’ll talk, and I’ll ask you a lot of questions. My goal will be for both of us to develop a sense of whether we're a good fit and for you to have a glimpse of what our work will be and how it can help you.

The first session is billed as one hour, but it often takes up to 90 minutes.

You can request an info sheet with all the details about private coaching.

Fees for Individuals

  • Regular Rate & Sliding Scale: My regular rate is $525/hour for private sessions. To accommodate clients of different means, I also offer a sliding scale of $250 - $525/hour. Within that range what you pay depends on what you can afford—it's on the honor system.

  • Scholarships: I also offer need-based scholarships. To apply, tell me

    • how our working together could help you

    • how the success of our work might help others

    • the financial basis of your need, and

    • what you are able to afford

(If you need a scholarship to work with me, please ask! Even if my scholarship slots are full, I may be able to give you a great referral.)

Fees for Corporate Coaching
My regular rate (see Fees for Individuals above) applies to most individuals whose coaching is paid by for-profit companies (some start ups and small businesses excepted). If you're not sure whether this rate applies to you, please ask. For group coaching rates, use this link.

Fees for Non-Profits
I offer a sliding scale for non-profits. Please inquire using the form on this page, and tell me what you're looking for.

Locations

  • My studio on North Edinburgh Ave—near West Hollywood, California, in the United States

  • Your location

  • Anywhere in the world (on Zoom)

Duration and Frequency of Coaching
Most clients do either one or two sessions per week. Less than one session per week is usually not helpful.

Depending on your goals, you may finish after a few sessions or continue on a regular basis.

Areas Addressed in Private Coaching
In addition to offering private coaching in voice and public speaking, and sometimes as a part of that coaching, I work with clients on:

  • Personal Development
This can also support professional growth

  • Developing open-hearted confidence instead of forcing confidence or hiding imposter syndrome.

  • Cultivating a more useful relationship with anxiety and stress through stress management and reframing, breathing more freely, and body-mind integration practices.

  • Exploring how self-care and being of service to others can be mutually reinforcing rather than overwhelming.

  • Professional and Leadership Development
This can also be deeply personal

  • Moving toward what you care about most while adapting to changing circumstances.

  • Enhancing leadership by wielding power with others rather than over others.

  • Expanding executive presence/embodied presence.

  • Communication Skills
In both personal and professional contexts

  • Finding and honing your voice.

  • Improving interpersonal communication.

  • Preparing for specific opportunities such as TED Talks, presentations, interviews, and more.

  • Acting & Singing Integration
    For professional and personal purposes

  • Connecting more deeply to material and expanding the range of material you can connect to.

  • Shaping nerves into charisma.

  • Relating well with audiences, cameras, and high stakes performance or auditions.
